Martin Halliday liked his cars, he always had a top of the range sports car and changed it every year. With a well paid job in the city he could afford to and besides he didn’t have any other expensive interests or a family to keep. But strangely he was not one of those people who constantly doted over their car and polished it every weekend, whilst he enjoyed driving and owning expensive motors they were, at the end of the day only large lumps of complicated metal. If his car got scratched or dented, it was just a fact of life to him and he took it to the garage to be repaired.
