I had intended to stick to the plan, not try anything too daring after my near miss in the second clearing, but on the way to the sculpture park, a trail sign caught my eye. It marked a web of paths threading through the woods, and right beside it, one of those trails peeled off from the main path – a narrow strip of dirt disappearing straight into the trees.
I stopped and squinted at the sign, trying to make sense of it in the low light. It was hard to read, but from what I could tell, this particular dirt trail looped through the eastern side of the woods before eventually reconnecting somewhere farther on. When I looked back at the trail itself, it seemed… less inviting. The trees swallowed most of the moonlight, and I couldn’t see more than a few steps in. It looked dark. Isolated. Easy to get turned around in.
Still, I lingered. Curiosity tugged at me as I stared into the trees, imagining the total seclusion I would have if I got naked somewhere on that trail. I took one tentative step onto the dirt, half-expecting it to feel rough or sharp, but it was surprisingly soft underfoot, almost welcoming.
No, you already had a plan. Stay on the main path, get to the sculpture park. It’ll be a safer place to strip.
Safer how? You’re worried about being seen, and this is as far from foot traffic as it gets. No one’s hiking a trail like this at night without a flashlight, at which point you’ll see them from a mile away.
Do you really wanna risk getting lost naked in the woods? It’s dark, everything looks the same in there. What if you lose the trail? Or forget where you left your clothes?
It’s not “that” dark, you can see the path well enough if you pay attention. And if you’re really worried about losing your clothes, you can just bring them with you.
I don’t know why I trusted myself when I said that, it was obviously a lie. Regardless, I stepped fully onto the trail and started walking, naively telling myself I was just scouting it out, that I would turn back any second, but every step I took deeper in the woods compelled me to keep going. I stayed dressed, moving slowly, letting my eyes adjust to the darkness. The trail was definitely rougher than the pavement and grassy clearings I’d been on earlier – roots, stones, even a fallen tree across part of it – but it was manageable. Enough moonlight filtered through the canopy for me to pick my way forward, even if I occasionally caught a sharp pebble underfoot. It stung, but not enough to make me want to turn back.
After several minutes of walking, the trail opened briefly onto a spot that stood out from the rest of the woods. The dirt path gave way to a set of rocky steps, pale against the darkness. Beside them was a massive fallen tree thicker than any of the others around it. Both of these features so close together made this portion of the trail unmistakable – easy to recognize, hard to confuse with anywhere else, and deep enough into the trail to feel secluded.
I came to a stop. If there was any place to strip on this trail, this would have been it, but I was still unsure if I really wanted to after my close encounter from earlier. The overwhelming panic and nauseating fear I felt in that moment weren’t things I was eager to relive, but I was desperate to feel the night air on my body again. I began to lift my shirt over my head but stopped part way, the bottom of my breasts just barely visible. I stood there, feeling the breeze wrap around my exposed waist, letting it hypnotize me into believing this is what I wanted. I was smiling again now and finished pulling my shirt off. My jeans didn’t stay on for much longer after that.
I let my clothes fall to my feet, not bothering to arrange them neatly or tuck them someplace secure. I couldn’t be bothered. I’d only been dressed again for a short while, but it had felt like an eternity – a tight, restrictive, dull eternity. I closed my eyes, leaned back, and spread my arms, letting the feelings of relief wash over me.
Mmmm… I love being naked…
I slowly came back to a neutral standing position, bringing my arms in to run them up and down my body. Those rocky steps I was standing felt like a stage, and although no one was watching, I felt like putting on a show. I started to lean forward with my back arched to stick my butt at as much as possible, hands gently caressing it, one on each cheek, spreading them wide, and then, without even thinking… slap! My eyes shot open, but I held that position.
Did- did you really just do that?
Yeah, pretty sure you just did.
I just slapped my ass. Like some sort of cam girl. It definitely didn’t feel like something I would do but it felt really good. I tried to look down and over my shoulder to get a better look at my own butt but I couldn’t see much. I did it again. Slap! Then again with the other hand. Slap! Then another 3 in succession, alternating each hand. Slap slap slap! And then another with both hands! SLAP!
OH MY GOD THIS FEELS SO HOT!
That last one cut through the silence of the night like the crack of a whip, but out here, in the woods, I couldn’t care less. I felt so safe, so secluded, I was totally okay to hoe it up, be someone I wasn’t, be free.
I lingered on the rocky steps a little longer, posing like a model, stretching my body, shifting my weight just to feel how the breeze hit back. The night air felt bolder in the woods, like nature itself was embracing me, feeling me up. I smiled at the thought of that and rolled my head, but stopped upon looking at the floor. I saw my clothes lazily pooled around my feet. Suddenly, that pit in my stomach came through again.
Being naked wasn’t the problem – being near my clothes was. The sight of them was a buzzkill, a mocking reminder of what I was doing and why I should stop. I wanted them out of sight, out of mind. Suddenly, the idea of keeping my clothes near seemed ridiculous, restrictive, like walking with a leash. I picked up my clothes and carelessly tossed them onto the large fallen tree beside the rocks, watching them daintily land out of reach.
Don’t disappear, I’m not going too far.
I looked ahead and continued down the trail. Naked. With my clothes left behind me. 10 steps in and it already felt like my clothes never existed to begin with.
Almost immediately, this felt different from before. When I’d run to the trees or to the bird tower, there had always been a goal: Go here, come back. Having a set destination in mind made it feel comforting, but out here, there was no finish line glowing ahead of me, no obvious turnaround point. Just the trail, winding endlessly deeper into the woods, its many twists and turns blending into a vague blur. It felt exciting and adventurous, like I was an explorer blindly pushing ever further into uncharted territory, with no idea how long it went on for. One mile? Five? Ten? Who knew. The map back at the sign had already faded into an unhelpful mess of colored lines looping and branching like it was daring me to get lost, to go in circles without realizing it.
Each step came with a taunt. Just a bit further I kept telling myself, and every time I complied, I imagined the distance stretching behind me too, the return growing exponentially longer, the choice harder to undo. The thrill and excitement boiled into a warm fuzzy feeling in my lower belly, it was distracting enough that I hadn’t even noticed my hand moving to my legs and gently rubbing my clit the entire time I was walking.
I was walking slowly, but not cautiously. The trail was getting rougher, more uneven. It dipped into shallow ravines then climbed again, thick roots entangling it, shrubs and bushes stretching their branches, partially obstructing my path forward, gently brushing my skin. I didn’t pull away though, in fact I often drifted closer, pretending it was accidental even as I angled myself for it. The sensation made me laugh under my breath. I could feel myself getting bold, daring even. Testing the limits of what I could get away with.
After about 10 minutes of walking, the trail finally split into two. A left path and a right path, neither calling out to me as the obvious correct choice. For a moment I tried to think back to the trail map but again, it was already nothing more than a hot mess of squiggly lines in my head by now.
Alright. Guess we’re improvising.
On a whim, I opted to go right, but made sure to commit this particular fork to memory before proceeding. There was a flat rock in the center, a tree stump on the left, a dead bush sagging in that corner. I wanted to make sure I’d be able to recognize this fork in the road and remember I had to go left here to get back to my clothes.
See, you’re not being reckless. You can still be smart about public nudity.
The right path carried me another 10 minutes before the woods suddenly thinned, opening onto a fence at the far edge of the trees. Beyond it stretched a wide field of tall grass, gently shining in the moonlight and swaying in the breeze, almost like it was breathing. My heart skipped a beat.
You have all this space to yourself? Oh, this is gonna be amazing, and the grass is tall enough to come up to your waist, it’ll feel so good between your legs!
Wait, don’t get too excited, look over there.
There was a house on the far side of the field. Clearly this field was someone’s property, hence the fence. Fantasy gave way back to reality, I couldn’t possibly risk jumping this fence and wandering out there, knowing real consequences were potentially waiting on the other side. That said, I also didn’t feel ready to turn back yet. I scanned the edge of the woods and noticed a cleared row of trees to make way for some powerlines climbing up a great big hill to my left. The slope disappeared into shadow at the top, its crest hidden just enough to feel like a challenge.
Hmm… that could be something…
By now, I was far – really far – from where I started. Twenty minutes out. No quick dash back, no easy undo, no such thing as scrambling to cover up. My clothes might as well have been on a different planet by now, but oddly, that fact comforted me more than scared me. Not having the option to quit made me embrace what I was doing. I felt compelled to keep going, and specifically, the top of this hill felt like a worthy destination to reach before turning back. I imagined what the powerlines running up the hill led to, and what kind of majestic view the hill would provide of the surrounding landscape. My imagination continued to tease me with thoughts of grandeur, and before long, I had a goal in mind: Reach the summit. Only then would I let myself turn back.
My first instinct was to simply follow the powerlines up the hill. The trail didn’t go up the hill this way, but it seemed simple enough – There were no trees in the way, there was no way of losing my bearings, and the tall grass growing on the hill promised me a tantalizing tactile sensation to my body during the climb. It seemed like a great idea.
Unfortunately, I quickly came to realize why the trail didn’t go this way. That tall grass might’ve felt great brushing by my waist and thighs, but it made it increasingly difficult to step further up the hill. I could also feel the ground softening underfoot as I climbed higher. The terrain was damp and unreliable, and before long I could feel my feet sinking into shallow pools of dirty water and mud. I also began to worry that the tall plants I was carelessly pushing through naked were poisonous, so I decided to give up on following the powerlines before I got anywhere close to the top of the hill.
I returned to the dirt path and scanned my surroundings to see if it continued up the hill in a different direction. That’s when a noticed a thinner offshoot of this trail branching off into the woods and winding up the hill in a series of tight switchbacks. I stopped at the base of it, looking up all the many back and forth trips between me and the top of the hill.
Are you sure you wanna keep going? You’ve already come a pretty long way.
Come on, you don’t wanna end the fun too soon, do you? It’s not even that much further to the top.
I swallowed hard. I knew my risk-taking side had a point, I didn’t want to turn around just because of some arbitrary fear of being caught, I wanted to truly “achieve” something before calling it quits, and reaching the top of the hill seemed like a fitting goal to do so. I squatted behind a nearby tree to take a quick pee break before starting the climb upwards.
I weaved through the switchbacks, mentally bookmarking each bend and split in the path so I wouldn’t go the wrong way on the way back down. For most of this winding ascent, I still hadn’t noticed my right hand casually hanging down by crotch, occasionally giving it a scratch. My brain never fully registered what I was doing down there but my body certainly did. My senses felt sharpened, but in a way that was more natural than alarming, almost as if my body was melting into its surroundings. I was feeling more playful than ever, straddling the fallen trees in the way and crawling up the steeper portions of the path on all fours.
I climbed higher, going back and forth and back and forth up the path until eventually the terrain evened out. I had reached the top. The trail continued to meander through the woods, but I could tell it was leading to something. Something big, exciting, new. I could see the edge of the woods, and my heart fluttered with what incredible discovery I would come across. I followed the trails out of the woods and… it was just another grassy clearing. I looked to my right and saw the powerlines I had tried to follow earlier. They did indeed make their way to this clearing, proving that this was the destination I was set on reaching, but they continued back down the hill into the woods. Even the trail kept on going back into the woods, showing that this was less of an end point and really just another nebulous part of a much larger trail.
Huh… all that walking… for this?
I didn’t want to spoil the mood, so I tried to take advantage of the soft grassy clearing to run around a bit and do some more cartwheels. On the trail in the woods, it was too dark and rugged to be able to safely run, so I ran a short loop around the field, did a couple of clumsy cartwheels, then collapsed into the grass with a chuckle. It felt good to finally lie down in something soft after all that walking. I rolled onto my back and stared up at the night sky, letting the cool blades press against me.
For a while I stayed there laying on the grass, breathing slowly, just thinking about things. It was then, feeling the forest floor pressed against me, in a moment of calm rather than panic, a thought crossed my mind.
Oh, right. You’re naked.
It wasn’t a scandalous thought, it was just up until that moment, I kinda forgot about that. I’d been naked for so long I sort of stopped thinking about it.
Yeah… you’re actually really far from your clothes by now…
That part settled in a little more heavily, although again, it wasn’t an alarming thought. I didn’t feel afraid or like I was in any rush to get back to my clothes. I had walked nearly 40 minutes away from where I had stripped, and somewhere along the way, the shock of being nude in public wore off. Being naked didn’t feel particularly taboo, it felt… comfortable.
Regardless, don’t get carried away, it still is considered taboo. You probably should turn back.
Yeah, you’re probably right. You got what you came for, best not to overstay your welcome.
For once, the pragmatist and the exhibitionist in me agreed on something. I stood, brushing the stray blades of grass off by the backside before taking one last slow look around. I felt satisfied and ready to leave while the night still felt like a gift instead of a mistake. I stepped on the trail and started back the way I’d come.
The walk back started smoothly. I wasn’t afraid of being seen or losing my way or worried that my clothes wouldn’t be where I left them. I was saturated with feelings of content, but also with a nagging doubt in my mind.
You walked all that way, and for what? Another bland field of grass and some stargazing?
I tried to drown those thoughts out.
Stop it. Tonight was fun. Hiking there and back naked was its own reward, it’s time to go home. You agreed to that.
No, you agreed to turn back. You know that field wasn’t what you were looking for.

Please tell me there’s are further adventures — esp. since this one didn’t take place anywhere near a park.
“Tell me you didn’t read the story without telling me that you didn’t read the story”
The last few sentences were so empowering. Love you, girl!!!
Exhibitionism should be more accepted and no woman should be shameed for it. It would be a freeer society
Tasting forbidden fruit and the thrill that comes from possibly getting caught.
Sort of like the wife of “Fabrizio” in Woody Allen’s “All You Wanted to Know About Sex But Were Afraid to Ask. Only way she could get aroused was to “do it” in a public place.
I applaud her decision to go fully nude — no clothes and no shoes — and hope to read more stories about “Nikki Prescott” and her exhibitionist adventures. Perhaps next time she pushes herself a little further.
