Are the clips for upscaling limited to 2 minutes?
No, there is no limit but it's very GPU intensive and will take a long time. On a decent gaming rig a 3-4 min clip takes about 3-4 hours at 1280x720 30fps. Time taken increases dramatically with resolution and fps. (on the good models that is, there are shit models which are much faster but give mediocre results)
Running a high end GPU at max for a long time possibly puts wear and tear on an expensive component, and in some countries will raise your electricity bill noticeably.
There are companies which let you rent GPU time on their servers so your personal equipment is not stressed and the electricity bill remains unaffected.
