Quick update on the progress of implementing videos:

  • It is taking so long because I am hooking the uploading system onto the CDN that the main site uses. This ensures that video playback will be better than the old site, but there is also a lot of implementation and testing work to be done.
  • The uploading system is 80% done. There are a few minor details I still need to address.
  • The video display system seems to be working for now. Based on the cat video below.

Once I get the uploading system completed, I'll do another round of testing before I roll it out.

This should be fixed now. There was a header issue that was causing uploaded files to not properly play on some browsers.
